Where It All Started.

It started with our dad.

Larry Morgan, known to everyone who loves him as Paw Paw, has had a love affair with cars his entire life. Growing up, he walked us through car shows the way some fathers walk their kids through museums — pointing out what made each one special, explaining the craft and the history behind every body line and engine note. Then he'd come home and build one himself.

We watched him tear down his '69 Camaro in our garage. Every bolt out, every piece inspected, everything put back together better than it came. When it was finished, people would stop and stare. They'd marvel at what they were looking at, and we'd stand there knowing our dad did that. Hard work, patience, and high standards. As simple and as hard as that.

Our parents shared a deep love for Camaros their whole lives together. Our dad eventually found a '67 that became the family's car — one that has been to more shows than we can count and heard more laughter from our daughters in the back seat than we'll ever be able to remember. And when our mom was fighting cancer, one of her final wishes was a last ride with our dad in that Camaro. He took her out, put his foot down, and she smiled the whole time, talking about how much she loved the sound of that exhaust. That car carries more life in it than most people will ever understand.

Morgan Muscle was built on that understanding.

Most people who come through our doors have dreamed about their car for a long, long time. They have a picture of it in their head that goes back years, sometimes decades. That dream deserves to be taken seriously — and we do.

Morgan Muscle is run by businessmen who love cars, and that combination matters more than it might sound. We're an award-winning shop that takes genuine pride in one thing above everything else: we put cars on the road. We track every project with real attention, every week. We finish what we start, and we hand you keys to a car that drives the way it should. You'll receive a detailed estimate up front, along with photos and progress updates every week. If anything changes, you'll hear from us before it does — not after. When delivery day comes, there are no surprises, just the vehicle you were promised.

You're handing it to people you'll actually get to know — the guys in the shop who'll text you the photos, pick up the phone, and meet you at the door on delivery day. The Man in the Shop.

When we set out to build Morgan Muscle into something real, we knew we needed someone who could run the shop with the same standards our dad instilled in us growing up. Not just a skilled mechanic, but someone with the character and the experience to lead a team and be trusted with other people's most prized possessions.

Finding Edgar Barron was genuinely rare.

Edgar built his career running service operations for automotive dealerships, where accountability to customers and managing complex moving parts aren't optional. At one point he channeled that same precision into a stretch of custom classic car builds for some of Birmingham's most prominent families — work that earned him recognition at the Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance, one of the most prestigious collector car events in the country, where a 1966 Mustang GT convertible he built earned Best in Class. The people in Birmingham's car community who knew his work knew he was one of the best around. They just kept quiet about it.

Edgar runs our shop floor, and the moment you meet him, you understand why customers come back. He knows every car by name and every customer by story.

Pat's Pony.

Of all the cars that have come through our shop, one story stays with us more than any other.

A man named Corey brought us a green Mustang with a simple request: please finish it. It had sat in another shop for years with nothing to show for it, and he was done waiting. What he told us next changed the way we understood what we were really doing here.

The Mustang had belonged to his grandmother. He called it Pat's Pony. It was the car he learned to drive on, the car tied to some of the most important memories of his life, and he wanted to restore it properly as a way of honoring her and keeping her close. He just needed someone he could trust to actually do it.

We finished the car, and for the final months of the build we kept it hidden from him so the reveal would be a true surprise. When we finally showed Corey and his wife, they held each other and cried.

That was the moment everything crystallized. We weren't just finishing a car. We were giving someone back a piece of his grandmother — a connection he thought he might never feel again. Every week our mechanics spent on that car was a week spent on something that genuinely mattered to a real person. That is what we mean when we say we build dream cars, and it's why we treat every project in this shop like it belongs to someone who has been waiting their whole life for it.

A few things people ask when they first reach out.

Where are you located? Can I visit the shop?

We're at 135 Corporate Way in Pelham, Alabama, about twenty minutes south of Birmingham. Shop visits welcome by appointment — give us a call or fill out the form to set one up.

Do you ship cars to clients outside Alabama?

Yes. We've delivered to clients across the country. Once your build wraps, we coordinate enclosed transport so your car shows up at your door the way it left ours.

What kinds of cars do you build?

Classic American muscle and trucks — Camaros, Broncos, Blazers, C10s, Chevelles. We're not married to one brand or era. If you've got a car you want done right, we'll talk.

Do you restore Camaros?

Yes — Camaros are in our blood. The Morgan family restored a '69 Camaro and a '67 Camaro that's been the family car for decades. First-generation Camaro restorations and resto-mods are some of our most requested builds.

Do you serve the Birmingham area?

Yes. Our shop is in Pelham, about twenty minutes south of Birmingham, and we work with clients throughout the Birmingham metro and across Alabama.
